SEAMEO INNOTECH AND RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY NETWORK SIGN MOU

The Center has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Rajabhat University Network, a Thailand-based organization composed of more than 40 universities, during the latter’s visit on October 17. The MOU was signed between INNOTECH director Dr. Ramon C. Bacani and Rajabhat University Network chairman Associate Professor Dr. Preang Kittratporn.

The partnership between the two institutions seeks to facilitate cooperation on matters related to education development. These include, among others, (1) sharing of knowledge, relevant information and documentation, research and best practices, (2) joint research undertakings, (3) on-the-job training opportunities at the Center for the Rajabhat University students, (4) joint sponsorship of forums and workshops, and (5) exchange of academic staff and related activities.

Present during the MOU signing were officials and selected faculty and staff of the Rajabhat University Network, and SEAMEO INNOTECH Management Committee, and staff.

Also present to provide the Thai visitors with information about their respective institutions were officials from the Philippine Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education.
