The “Regional Research on Models of Secondary Level ADMs” intends to document the best practices of different Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) in SEAMEO-member countries.
The project started off with a Regional Forum on 25 – 28 September 2012. In order to gather more substantial data on the ADM programs, case studies and survey research were conducted by in-country researchers. Data gathering activities such as focus group discussions and observations were also conducted by a SEAMEO INNOTECH team together with the researchers.
Phase 1 of the project has produced four case studies on the different ADM programs in the region. Phase 2 of the program has developed the Alternative Learning Modalities (ALM) Toolkit which promotes the adoption, enhancement, and sustainability of secondary level ALMs in the region. The toolkit also includes updates on policies and practices of the existing programs.
