This survey on the Profile of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Capabilities of Elementary and Secondary Schools in the Philippines was successfully conducted through the joint efforts of the Senate Committee on Education, Arts and Culture; the Department of Education and its schools divisions; the heads of the country’s elementary and secondary schools; and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO INNOTECH).
This Profile is a major research that gathers data from close to all public schools in the country and a number of private schools. It presents valuable and current information on the readiness of schools to promote the use of ICT as tools to improve instruction to pupils in the elementary and secondary levels.
