As a school head, you must steer your school to a clear direction amid rapid changes in our times. Through Leading and Sustaining Change, it is hoped that you will use strategic thinking and innovation to create a shared vision for the school and engage in collaborative action with stakeholders to effect sustainable change initiatives. By focusing on who you are as a person and working on your leadership, you will be able to initiate and sustain changes in order to drive your school towards success.
Learning Objectives
– Recognize how a divide affects and is affected by factors in the school, community, and Southeast Asia region
– Examine your qualities, values, principles, and experiences and their influence on the way you lead your school
– Create a vision of change to address a divide that is affecting your school
– Engage stakeholders to come up with a shared vision and collective response to initiate changes in the school
– Develop strategies with stakeholders to ensure continuity and sustainability of initiated changes
