We should both understand what opportunities online. World keep on changing. Amidst this changes, we need to dance with the music. But its not that so easy, yes it is our rights to learn and to be digitally literate. In every rights there is a corresponding responsibility. Being a teacher, we need to inform and give proper guidance to our learners in dealing technology. It needs a collaboration effort of teachers and parents. We are doing our responsibility in our respective CLCs but how about home? Do parents set expectations to their children?

I have tried to figure out if what will happened to people or our learners who are logged behind in terms of technology. Benefits much been given for those who were categorized as hi-tech individual. How about the non-technology users? So then, we really had a big responsibility in reaching this people. Bringing education into their doorsteps and open a wide opportunities for them to become digitally literate citizen.

Constant practice makes perfect. Even in using in our own laptops or desktops or any media, if we lack the ability to explore we only had a limited knowledge in using the technology. It is hard to appreciate the beauty of the platform if we had not even try to use it.

That is why we need to be careful and orient ourselves how to handle risk and being harassed online. It is very important we should know our limits. Even how relevant this information is but we should also consider if we are not violating rights. As teachers, this knowledge must made known to our learners. Being careful and responsible in using media to avoid and minimized risk.
