    Digital world is now the extension of everybody’s day to day living. Teaching and learning delivery, “kumustahan” with family, friends, learners, co-workers, and even business as to buying, selling, trading, banking transactions and other essentials are requiring us to go online. During this pandemic, overexposure to cyber activities through multi-media platforms is really observable. So, it is necessary to safeguard our footprint security online, including emotional, mental and psycho-social well-being. Values are caught not taught thus it is our responsibility to self-monitoring on behavior for healthy relationship with others, equip learners with cyber wellness, inculcate the Golden Rule “Do unto others what you want others do unto you”, be empathetic and critical thinkers always.

In teaching-learning process, Kumustahan with family, co-workers, learners and friends, regarding business, career, and other transactions requires us to go online. Due to pandemic and movement restrictions, overused of social media leads everyone to be exposed to different cyber activities. Now, it is our responsibility to safeguard our own security when using any social media platforms. It is true that values are caught not taught. Self-monitoring including emotional and psycho-social well-being to foster healthy relationship online should be considered. We must abide with the rules and regulations of cyber wellness and the golden rule “Do unto others what you want others do to you”.

    As digital immigrants, it is very important to be openminded, transform positively and adapt to the current world of digital natives. Being a digital literate is not enough but we must think critically and demonstrate proper use of digital technology, matters most. We must be responsible models and productive and disciplined digital citizens to everyone.
