I share the same insight Mam Gie. Hearing the podcast about the Benefits of Digital Technology made me realize how lucky we are to be living in the present when there are a lot of opportunities brought about by the digital rise. Digital technology indeed plays an important role in making our lives easier and our works quicker and more efficient. We also have to remember that in order to make the most out of these perks we have to equip ourselves with the necessary skills in ICT. Possibilities are endless as they say in the digital world.

With all those benefits that are enumerated, it also made me realize how big our role is as educators especially that we are catering the lost, the last and the least of the society. It is important that we let our learners know and experience these benefits because it will help them to improve their lives and reach their goals. And what better way to this is for us to really incorporate ICT to their learning experiences. As we explore new things in the digital world, we should also share it to them. Let us stimulate their curiosity towards these things. Let us motivate our learners to explore and try new digital applications, platforms and the likes too. Maximize it by  incorporating the use of technology in their learning experiences through lesson planning and engaging activities. We should also use the ICT to enhance our learners’ learning experience.

Teachers’ role is vital to help the learners realize the value and the benefits of digital technology.
