-
Learning is a familiar term in everyday human life. Because it has been very well known once about learning, as if people already know by itself what is meant by learn.namun if asked to ourselves, it will appear a question what is meant by learning it ??
There will likely be many definitions of learning, as well as among psychologists.
Here are the opinions of psychologists in looking at Learning:
1.Skinner (1958) provides a definition of learning “Learning is a process of progressive behavior adaptation”. From the definition can be argued that learning is a process of behavior adaptation that is progressive. This means that learning will lead to a better state of the previous state. Besides, learning also takes the process meaning learning takes time to achieve a result.
2.McGeoch (1956) provides a definition of learning “learning is a change in performance as a result of practice. This means that learning leads to changes in performance, caused by the training process.
3.Kimble provides the definition of learning “Learning is a relative permanent change in behavioral potentiality as a result of reinforced practice. In the definition, there is something new that is a permanent change, caused by reinforcement practice.
4.Horgen (1984) provides a definition of learning as “learning can be defined as a result of practice or experience.” The thing that arises in this definition is that the behavior as a result of learning is due to training or experience.
