IMU PROJECT ASSOCIATE (Social Media and Website)
JOB SUMMARY
The Project Associate will be tasked to create, post, and monitor content for the organization’s social media channels and website to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Social Media Management
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to enhance the organization’s online presence.
- Create, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to inquiries and comments.
- Provide assistance in the analysis of social media metrics and preparation of reports on performance.
- Website Management
- Update and maintain the organization’s website content to ensure it is current and accurate.
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and traffic.
- Monitor website analytics and prepare performance reports.
- Content Creation and Coordination
- Work with various departments to gather content and ensure alignment with organizational goals and branding.
- Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to maximize online coverage.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the project team.
- Dissemination
- Develop and implement dissemination strategies for the organization’s publications.
- Distribute publications to relevant audiences via appropriate channels, including email, social media, and print.
- Monitor and report on the reach and impact of disseminated publications.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure accuracy and quality of all content posted on social media and the website.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of online content.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to improve content quality.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all activities comply with organizational and ISO standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to the project.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other tasks related to the project as assigned by the Head of the Information Management Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Attainment
- A graduate of any bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
Work Experience
- At least 1-year related experience in social media management, website content management, or related work.
- Computer [iterate and knowledgeable in the use of Adobe Create Suite, Microsoft Office, Word Press, and other Graphic Layout and Editing Softwares
- Competent in project management and related skills.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision, with proven excellent written, analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
