INNOTECH TRANSITIONS TO ISO 9001:2008

SEAMEO INNOTECH successfully migrated to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 version 2008 for quality management system, following the conduct of an external audit on September 10. The certification guarantees that the Center applies formalized business processes. The audit was conducted by SGS Philippines, Inc., the local affiliate of Société Générale de Surveillance Group of Companies in Geneva, Switzerland, concerned with accreditation and certification of quality assurance and risk management of businesses. In their report, the auditors from SGS Phils. commended the Center’s commitment, especially the top management, “in the effective implementation and continuous improvement of (its) quality management system.”
