INNOTECH partakes in Brigada Eskwela 2018

Along with the opening of classes on 4 June 2018, SEAMEO INNOTECH takes part in the Philippine Department of Education’s annual National Schools Maintenance Week, known as Brigada Eskwela. Staff and partners of SEAMEO INNOTECH dedicated a day to repaint and clean selected nearby schools, namely Culiat High School and Quezon City Science High School, on 31 May and 1 June 2018. The Center donated additional painting and cleaning tools to the said schools as supplement to their existing supplies. 

With the theme, “Pagkakaisa para sa handa, ligtas, at matatag na paaralan tungo sa magandang kinabukasan,” the 2018 Brigada Eskwela aims to bring all education stakeholders together to prepare public school facilities for the opening of the school year. SEAMEO INNOTECH’s participation in the annual schools’ maintenance week is aligned with its SEAMEO Social Responsibility to be true to the Center’s mandates and mobilize staff to execute socially responsible programs and activities.
