During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-21, millions of educators and students were confined at home using remote learning platforms as schools around Southeast Asia and Australia closed their doors. Teachers and educators continue to face enormous challenges in ensuring high-quality content delivery and best practice teaching strategies. While schools are starting to open again, we can use digital learning platforms to enhance the professional development of teachers and the strengthening of global best practice.

This session on “Enhancing Teacher Quality in Southeast Asia” shares the experience from both Australia and Southeast Asia in addressing common challenges and in supporting best practice.
