SEAMEO BIOTROP, in collaboration with the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science IPB University and LPDP Indonesia, is hosting a webinar, “Biodiversity in Education: Strategic Plan to Enhance Marine Awareness,” on 22 May 2023, 9 AM (GMT+7). The guest speakers for the event are Professor Lawrence M Liao from the Hiroshima University, and Professor Fredinan Yulianda from IPB University. Prof Lawrence will discuss the issues of Biodiversity, bioprospecting, inclusivity and science for all, while Prof Fredinan will present about Biodiversity blue economy for marine ecotourism.

The hybrid event will take place at SEAMEO BIOTROP, Bogor Indonesia and via Zoom.
