Becoming a Better Teacher Every (BBTE) speaks for itself. A massive open online course for teachers in Southeast Asia, it is designed to help teachers become better in their teaching practice as they recognize their strengths and areas for growth to adapt in the fast changing education context, more especially in the new normal. BBTE is anchored on the Southeast Asian Teacher Competency Framework (SEA-TCF).

The course aims to guide learners in planning their continuing professional development based on the SEA-TCF.  To do this, they  will:

* reflect on and express the reason they teach
* use the SEA-TCF as a tool for professional development in the changing education context
* identify their strengths and areas for growth

These learning objectives are covered in 5 interrelated learning sessions, which are a blend of interactive discussion, individual reflections, videos of selected teachers in the region sharing their practices and stories, and self-competency assessment.  These sessions are self-paced.
