BEST PRACTICES IN MANAGING SMALL SCHOOLS

SEAMEO INNOTECH senior specialists Ms. Yolly de las Alas and Ms. Debbie Lacuesta recently met with DepEd Region IV Division Superintendent Dr. Woodrow M. Denuvo, along with other school officials, to talk about the monitoring visits conducted to two Project SMaLL pilot schools in Carcar City, Cebu–the Hawanay Elementary School and the Mainit Elementary School. The discussion included the extent by which the two schools have adopted the e-IMPACT technology and attained effective school-community partnerships. Also present during the meeting were Carcar City District Supervisor Dr. Catalina Cabahug, and Talisay Education Supervisor Mrs. Elvira Vergara.
